What is your vision for your business unit and how will you execute it?
ULO has great strategic plans ahead. I’m currently working on the strategic initiatives of 2022. I’m dedicated to achieve all the company’s goals/big moves with great strategic planning.
How has the journey with the organization been so far?
The journey has been great. I am thankful to be working here and to be able to learn a lot from all of my co-workers that are sharing with me their experience.
What is your recipe for success?
Work hard and Never wait for chances always create your own opportunities, and to always look at the positive side of every situation.
How do you lead through change?
To Identify the areas of the business that need to be updated and put a plan in place for its execution. Communication is the key when it comes to corporate change, I will ensure to keep everyone fully abreast of developments and ensure that my team understands the end goal.
Who are your role models or mentor?
My father is my role model as he always provided me with strength, encouragement and support. I have developed a lot of the same skills that I had always admired my dad having: an ease with public speaking, self-confidence and a keen sense of time management. Would I be the same woman today if I had not had my dad as a role model? Probably not.
What message would you like to give all the employees in the organization?
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your team. And don’t forget that “Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.”
We have all seen the professional Ms. Zena. How would you describe yourself when you are with friends and family?
I’m a very fun and out-going person that loves to organize family or friends’ gatherings. I always like to explore and experience new things.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I always tend to do something new and different, but usually I will spend my time by going out to different places or spend it at home watching movies.
What are you passionate about?
As my major is biomedical engineering, I always admired working with technology, solving interesting technical challenges, helping people, making a difference in people’s lives, helping people live healthier lives, etc.
